I seek to make money betting on sports. I was hoping a sports betting system is available with accurate betting predictions. I heard of people using sports betting systems before. I just dont know of any sports betting system. please share a sports betting system that you use and has accurate sports betting predictions. Is it possible to even make money betting on sports?
“I seek to make money betting on sports” god bless you stranger! if only it was that easy!
you can argue whether systems exist – assuming there are some out there – most are not widely known to the masses!
once everyone gets ahold of the information – the bookmakers adjust the lines – and often the high % they were winning at before becomes diminished!
There is really no systems out there that is public knowledge that produces a high volume of plays in ANY sport
One of the biggest examples of a system being available on the net for sale and did kind of work – was someone on Ebay a few years ago – sold systems beating both MLB and NBA in 3 game chase systems – it hit a very high % however you were always betting favorites and one 3 game loss would wipe out anywhere to 8 to 12 one game wins. if your just betting -110 and chasing to 3 games you need 8 times the amount for a 3 game series. In baseball you can have favs anywhere from -150 to -200 so chase amounts like that and it was highly risky if you lost 3 games in a row
someone stole the system and is now marketing it bigtime to the masses as John Morrison
He is a FRAUD!
there is sports betting systems you can play individually but they NEVER win all the time – if your going the chase route – you win alot as you should win 1 in 3 games – but one losing streak can wipe out alot of work and small profits
is it possible? YES but you need to have realistic goals – depending on your bankroll –
its unrealistic to expect to double your bankroll in a season unless you are very lucky or not playing high stakes or both!
The number of people who can make a living betting sports is probably under 1% of those who try
you need a huge bankroll which can never be said enough – yet money alone does not mean you will make money gambling. You do need to do the work – have the discipline and even luck!
its an art – not a science!
someone once said about the game of poker – there is no silver bullet – no one thing you can teach or say to someone that can make you a good player – the same goes for sports betting!
It takes alot of effort – and dedication – and skill – and even then you are going against the laws of statistics that suggest despite your BEST efforts you are favored to lose!
Good Luck:)
I ‘ve been looking for one for years and have tried to create one myself and it all comes down to keeping your own records and stats over the years and fitting horses, jockeys, trainers, courses, going, distance, present company, blah blah blah blah.
The thing i have made a bit on is trading on Betfair ,and “dutching” .I do very little backing these days i do more laying and by picking what “i” think are the best races then i seem to have increased my winnings percentage probably because when you lay you effectively become the bookie. You probably know all this but just thought i’d share my experience.

i think i figured it out it seems that java will not let me make the main not static so i cant use the class level variables i wanted to so i just put all of my code in my main
Yeah you are right
It should be full
public static void main(String args[])
To use class level variable you should make them static or declare it in the main method itself
But if you declare them in the main method then they will be local to it
I’ve heard I can make some seriously good money betting on the World Cup, but I haven’t a clue where to begin. Betting guides aren’t very easy to find, and I haven’t found anything that I’d want to buy as yet. Can anybody recommend a betting guide with maybe some support of some kind, or money back if the betting system doesn’t work?
Hey, I got a betting guide from http://goals4profit.com They offer a 60 day money back guarantee and if you buy the guide you get daily tips via email for free for 30 days. This is my first time trying sports betting and Im already turning a profit. If I can do this, anyone can. Support has been great too, all the questions I had were dealt with quickly. Check it out, sounds like the sorta thing youre looking for.
I want to try a strategy in sports betting because it seems like if you can stay disciplined and stick to a plan, then money can be made. I would like to hear some answers.
Search on “Kelly Criterion”, “John L Kelly”, “Edward O. Thorp”, and “Claude Shannon”.
It’s actually from the field of Information Theory pioneered by Claude Shannon and is the method by which bandwidth is maximized in digital telecommunication. Keep in mind that it depends on your estimate of the actual probabilities of winning be more correct than that on which the payout odds are based. This means that money management in itself isn’t enough but you’ll also need to set up a decent model to obtain reasonable probabilities or you’ll have to subscribe to a simulation service such as accuscore.com (which unfortunately the bookmakers probably subscribe to).
I read about this Cornell Uni PhD who reckons he won over $185,000 in October alone just betting on NBA games.
He sells his system for a one off price of $197 and gives you lifetime picks for NBA and MLB for free.
Has anyone had success with this or tried it out?
His site is http://SportsBettingChamp.net
That guy is a fraud, it’s impossible to win that much unless you bet your whole bankroll in one game. You don’t have to pay for a system to win. You can get free picks which are 60% accurate all the time on Twitter. Follow Laker_Crazy and SweetJones55. By the way, by saying that he sells his system and gives lifetime picks for “free”, he’s just contradicting himself. It’s not free because you paid for it. May lady luck be with you! Congo cash baby, Congo cash.

I’m not really sure where to begin. I won’t say anything good or bad about this system (because I’m not sure it would solve anything), but I would highly encourage you to do your research before ever giving anyone your money.
If you’re serious about betting on sports, then there’s so much more than just finding a get rich quick system because, trust me, they don’t exist. Do you really think someone is going to be selling you some kind of top secret system, when they could keep it for them self? The answer is NO. If that were the case then why would any sportsbook take your bets as well if they know they’re just going to lose. Think about it and please do your research.
Betting is always a game of chance, but bookies dont always win. Some people are professional gamblers, are the just lucky? What is the skill? How can I learn it?
Are there any academics who study gambling and who have proven consistent successful betting systems? I suppose that if there are not, then its impossible.
You see many online systems which claim to make you money, do they really work? Has anybody tried them?
As I once read in an internet forum: “Yes, most professional bettors do. No, they don’t want to share it with you.”
People absolutely do beat the sportsbooks, and these people typically do have proven betting systems. However, as you can imagine, this is tremendously valuable information. If it predicted accurately on, say, a 60% clip, if you could bet tens of thousands of dollars on each prediction you would have an enormous expectation.
The reason I’m always leery of those “I’ll sell you a proven betting system” sales pitches is that if it actually worked, they could make way more money than selling it to me for $99. Plus, if they sold enough copies to educated bettors, the information would be incorporated into the lines and become useless (look at “efficient market hypothesis” for details).
If you want to attempt it, there are steps you can take. First, read Sharp Sports Betting by Stanford Wong. It’s a good primer on how to think as a “sharp”, or educated/professional bettor. Afterwards, do your own research, come up with hypotheses, and test your model. Learn about data mining and data analysis to properly do this.
It sounds like a lot of work, and it is. And even with all the work, there’s no guarantee you’ll come up with a good betting system. But you’re not going to see someone give one away for free on the internet and no one will sell it to you for two easy payments of $49.99. Unless you have a very good friend willing to let you in on his/her method, you’ll have to develop it on your own.
As someone doing similar work right now (with some success thus far), I wish you the best of luck.
EDIT: To clarify, I’m talking only about sports betting. Bookmakers are not perfect, and I’m referring to finding opportunities where bookmakers put up inaccurate lines. For things like craps, slots, roulette, etc., there’s no way to win long-term. Each bet is -EV, and there’s no way to overcome that.
Wondering if it might be worth it to impliment an off track betting system at my bar?
I am in Arizona and they do have otb in a few bars here
They can.
You stand to collect at least several dollars of every hundred wagered.
I would check with your state or regional horse racing agencies. Find out what the breakdown is for a wagering dollar. I don’t know what country you are in, but I know that there’s always a very easily obtainable breakdown of the wagering dollar and what your slice of it as a bar OTB could be.
I use a baseball betting system that has made me a lot of money this year that I reccomend to everyone, http://TheACEofSportsPicks.com
However, they don’t offer Football. Does anybody know of a good Football Betting System for NCAA or NFL?
Thanks!
Yeah, it’s called Florida – and over every week.
